Housewerks is an architectural salvage business located in the old Bayard Station building in Pigtown.

From antique & vintage lighting to dated door hardware, Housewerks has an eclectic mix of items for your restoration. Even if you’re not restoring your home, there are plenty of unique treasures to give your home a little jazz. Their lighting section is certainly impressive, and something that I will keep in mind when I start working on the carriage house.

Housewerks also has an in-house workshop (known as their Werkshop) where they can modify & restore some of your antique pieces to get them looking great again! Need something for a set you’re working on? Housewerks let’s you rent their stuff for a fee if it’s priced for more than $100. Bayard Station/Housewerks is also home to the Pigtown Flea Market, happening most Saturdays March-end of May in their parking area. Check out the flea market, and then go inside Housewerks to admire the building & all of their gorgeous finds.
