Stepping into their store is like being in a mini tropical oasis. There are plants hanging from the ceiling, rows of mini succulents lined up on the shelves, and towering tropicals spread throughout the space.
What I love about the Canton location are the various seating opportunities. Being around nature should be relaxing, so I appreciate the chance to sit down and take it all in. But also—picking out your newest houseplant can be pretty hard, so take a seat and take your time!
In Baltimore, many of us live in rowhomes—which can be tough on plants! In store, the B. Willow staff can recommend what types of plants will fit best with your space/available lighting. They even have a special plant design service where they will come to your home/business and pick the plants for you—down to the planters if you want!
Did I mention you can also pot your plant here? There’s a planting table with all the necessary elements—sand, rocks, charcoal, soil, even seashells. Plus the staff will help you too if you’ve never potted a plant before (no judgement zone!). I enjoy potting my new plants at their stores because it prevents me from making a mess at home. But if you prefer to do it later, they will let you purchase their potting elements to take home with you too. Plus, there’s a care card for your plant included with your purchase, so you’ll know exactly where to put it once you’re ready.
